Change Management/ Reorganisation

Change required

In the Age of Change, if you don't go forward you go backward; change - either proactive or reactive - becomes vital.

Guiding principle: "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent; it is the one that is most adaptable to CHANGE." (Charles Darwin 1809-1882)

Concepts

According to general language use, Change Management includes the planning, the realisation and the monitoring of the change companies, management styles and markets undergo, in order to gain and secure competitive advantages. The focus lies either on the change of structures ("system change concept") or on the change of cultures ("culture change concept").

Reorganisation, according to "Business Process Reengineering", is a special case of Change Management. Reorganisation regards the radical rearrangement of current processes, mostly connected with profound changes of previous thought patterns and the corporate culture. Normally, the reorganisation of a company or a management style consists of a multitude of single measures.
