ISPA consult was founded in 1989 as a spin-off of the Chair of Business Studies and Personnel Management at the University of Stuttgart and specialises in HR system consulting.

Aims of HR consulting
- support HR employees and executives in companies and administrations as and when required in performing their tasks better, faster and as cost-efficiently as possible (customer benefit)
- positively affect the personnel department's contribution to value creation
- advance and strengthen the role of the HR employees as reliable and highly competent business partners (HR business partner)
These aims can be achieved through value-based consulting according to the following concept:
- consider and implement customer-oriented consulting as a permanent engagement
- guarantee optimised problem solving for customers, following strictly the obligations defined in the Service Level Agreements
- appoint competent contact persons to the customer during all phases of the consulting process
- encourage and demand innovations in the personnel department according to the current state of research and Best Practice
